Are you team Edward or team Jacob?  Regardless which team you are, you have to watch the newest movie from the Twilight Saga: Eclipse hunk Robert Pattinson.  Robert Pattinson aka Edward Cullen of the ever famous and overrated Twilight Saga is trying his acting skills on a more mature role in Remember Me movie.

Remember Me is romantic drama movie that shows the power of true love, strength of family, and the importance of living passionately and treasuring every day of one’s life.   On this movie Rob is partnered with Emilie de Ravin.  The movie is directed by Allan Coulter and produced by Summit Entertainment.

Movie critics have been raving positive feedback on the movie.  Many says that the movie showcases Pattinson’s real talent.  He did not just showcase his hunky bod and charm on this movie but he displays a great deal of acting talent on this movie.

The story of Remember Me revolves around Tyler Hawkins (Robert Pattinson), a rebellious young man who has a strained relationship with his father, Charles (Pierce Brosnan) after his brother committed suicide. After meeting Ally Craig (Emilie de Ravin) through an unusual twist of fate, the two bond over their similar tragedies as Ally’s mother was murdered. But the two will soon find their relationship threatened.

Falling in love is not on Tyler’s agenda in fact falling in love is the last thing on his mind. But Ally’s enthusiasm to life and positive spirit inspires him and Tyler’s began to heal.  Without his knowledge and intension he begins to fall for her.

With Ally’s love, Tyler begun to find happiness and meaning in his life.  But the two will soon find their relationship threatened as hidden secrets are revealed, and the circumstances that brought them together slowly threaten to tear them apart.

The movie is set for a wide release on March 12, 2010.  You can also watch Remember Me online. Twilight fans should have to watch the movie if you want to be one of the first to see the Twilight Saga: Eclipse Trailer first.  The first glimpse of the Twilight Saga: Eclipse will be shown together with Remember Me.

The Princess and the Frog Official Post

I am so excited with the latest 2D animation for Walt Disney Animation Studios, based on what I have read, it is based on the novel written by E.D. Baker, The Frog Princess.  But the story of The Princess and the Frog is quite different from what we have read on the E.D. Baker book.

The Princess and the Frog is all about Prince Naveen.  Prince Naveen is the smooth talking prince from the land of Maldonia.  Prince Naveen was transformed into a frog by the evil voodoo magician Dr. Facilier.  The heroine of the story is Tiana, a 19-year old waitress and aspiring chef.  Naveen, the frog prince mistakes Tiana for a princess and has her kiss him to break the spell.  However, the kiss doesn’t break the spell, but instead turns Tiana into a frog as well. Together, the two of them must reach the good voodoo priestess of the Bayou, named Mama Odie, while befriending a trumpet-playing alligator and a hopelessly romantic firefly along the way.

The Princess and the Frog is schedule to open in limited released in New York and Los Angeles on November 25, 2009 and will be released worldwide on December 11, 2009. (source: ohthots.wordpress.com)

Joe and Stella Kiss

This coming September 6, JONAS! will airing a new episode.  This will be the Jonas Episode 14: Karaoke Surprise.  The Jonas Brothers was a recipient of the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, Choice TV Actor Comedy for the JONAS! sitcom.  The JONAS! sitcom also won as the Choice TV Breakout Show.

Now on their 14th episode, Jonas! is enjoying a huge audience share on its time slot every Sunday on Disney Channel.  The Jonas Episode 14: Karaoke Surprise is all about Stella is getting a hurt when she jumps into wrong conclusion when she thinks that Macy and the Lucas boys are excluding her from the group.   But the truth is Kevin, Joe and Nick is enlisting Macy’s help to plan a party to celebrate their ten-year Friend-A-Versary with her.  It would a great Karaoke Surprise party for Stella.

Don’t fail to watch this episode!

Last August 9, 2009 the the 11th Teen Choice Awards winner was selected based on the votes casts by the younger audiences, mostly by the teens ages 13 – 19.  The event was started in 1999 as a spin-off of the Youtube teen awards.  The awardees of the Teen Choice Awards is given a full-size surfboard as trophy.  The Teen Choice Award has a tagline “Teen Choice is your choice, your voice.”

This year’s Teen Choice Award was hosted by the hottie Jonas Brother and it was held in Los Angeles, California.  This year there are more than 83 million votes were cast by teen for their favorite actors, actress, movie, song etc.  Top on the list of awardee this year is the Twilight which takes eleven, Jonas Brothers takes nine, Miley Cyrus got 5.

Wizards of Waverly Place Season 3

Only one episode left for the Wizards of Waverly Place Season 2, the Retest episode which is scheduled to air on August 21.  The Retest would the season finale of Wizards of Waverly Place, but WOWP fans should not worry because early May this year the President of Disney Channels Worldwide has announced the return of Wizards of Waverly Place on its third season.
The Wizards of Waverly Place Season 3 will begin to air early September this year, right after the premiere of the Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie on August 28.  Aside from the announcement of the Wizards of Waverly Place Season 3, the Disney channel has also announced Wizards franchise.  Disney will release dolls and many other merchandise items based on the WOWP series, the merchandise will be available this fall.  A new Nintende DS game is being developed based on the Wizards of Waverly Place series.

Wizards of Waverly Place Season 3 will be having same casts just like the previous seasons.  Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jake T. Austin, Jennifer Stone, Maria Canals Barrera and David DeLuise will be portraying their original role.  In the Wizards of Waverly Place Season 3, Harper will be staying in The Loft with the Russo Family.  Meanwhile, Max will be getting “serious” in honing his wizard skills and becomes a serious contender in the Russo kids’ quest to become the sole heir of the family’s wizard powers.  Alex will be pursuing her dream of becoming an artist and designs her own studio inside the miniature dollhouse.  And the serious big brother Justin is now on his last year in high school and he plans to savor every senior moment.

Since its debut in October 2007, Wizards of Waverly Place has gained so much success.  It was rated as number 1 program in its timeslot this year.  On the survey in April 2009, WOWP was the number 2 among the scripted TV series across all cable and broadcast television among tween audiences aged 9-14 and number 3 among kids viewer aged 6-11.  It was also been nominated on several award giving bodies.  Selena Gomez (Alex) won the 2009 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award for Favorite Television Actress.  And on August 28, the Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie is set to premiere on Disney Channel

Tween is a colloquial terms which is used to described girls aged between 9 to 14 years-old.  These girls are too old for toys but too young for boys.   The word tween is a word used by the business world to described young clients.  According business report tweens has a very strong purchasing influence and power.  Tweens spends around 1.4 billion to 1.6 billion dollars each year.

The most notable tween personality that carved their influences in tween worlds are Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Hilary Duff, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Vanessa Hudges, The Jonas Brothers, Zack Efron and the Queen of Tween Miley Cyrus.  These names had not only engraved their stamp on the film industry but also in the business world.  These young people gained billions of dollars every year.

Tween has a very strong influence in so many area of our lives and in society.  They might be young, but they have the power to influence the world.
